The weather in Orange Beach has been perfect and the sea conditions are just right for almost any charter fishing trip. So far in May, we have had some really good fishing just off the beaches of Gulf Shores where we are catching some big Spanish Mackerel and School Sized King Mackerel. June is almost here and the Red Snapper season is going to be 40 days this summer. The season will open on June 1 and will close on July 10. The Gag Grouper Season will open on July 1 and should remain open until the end of October this year. Amberjack will close on June 1 and remain closed until August 1.  There is also a chance that charter fishermen will not be able to keep any Triggerfish after the quota is estimatedly caught by mid June. The jury is out on that and we will let you know when the decision to close it comes.
